Yari D. Lawson, Esq.

Yari D. Lawson is a native of Eatonton, Georgia . He is a graduate of Morehouse College in Atlanta , GA. Yari received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Arkansas , School of Law. Yari began his legal career as an Assistant Public Defender in the Macon Judicial Circuit, and was devoted to quality representation for indigent clients facing the anxiety of having felony criminal charges affecting their lives. After leaving the public defender's office, Yari turned his experience to prosecuting cases for the Fulton County District Attorney's Office in Atlanta , Georgia , assisting victims of violent crimes and helping to protect communities and businesses against desperate criminals who preyed upon the earnings of others. After leaving the Fulton DA's Office, Yari started his own practice to unite his legal training with his passion for business and helping others achieve economic empowerment. As a business attorney, Yari has represented small businesses in their development, procurement of funding, deal structuring and a wide range of legal issues. Yari is a member of the Gate City Bar Association, Young Lawyers Division of the State Bar of Georgia, and American Bar Association. Yari is a member of the 2010 graduating class of the Leadership Academy within the Young Lawyers Division and serves on several committees within the State Bar. In addition to his professional associations, Yari is mentor for inner-city youth at Parks Middle School in Atlanta, Georgia and is an instructor for the Women Economic Development Agency, a non-profit school devoted to teaching women courses to start their own businesses.

Family

Yari is a devoted family man. He and his wife Tachelle live in Dunwoody and are involved in fitness, travelling, and monopoly.
